The Parenteral Drug Association held its annual meeting this year in New Orleans, Louisiana with the theme Back to the Future: Learning from The Past in A Patient-Centric World.
The three-day conference had an overall focus on the patient and included topics such as cybersecurity risk management, use of emerging technologies in advanced therapy medicinal product (ATMP) manufacturing, contamination control strategies, rapid microbiologic method validation, developing a knowledgeable and skilled workforce, and quality risk management. The exhibit hall included booths from 75 companies and forty-seven poster presentations.
Parenteral Drug Association今年在路易斯安那州新奥尔良举行了年度会议，主题是“Back to the Future: Learning from The Past in A Patient-Centric”。
MicronView had a booth at the conference and presented a poster with colleagues from OnSite-LLC on Visualizing Real Time contamination Risks Using Modern Methods & Technologies. This highlighted the use of 3D airflow technology and the MicronView BAMS to support development of a real time contamination risk map in a cell therapy clean room and operating room case studies. The conference included many educational presentations and posters and provided an excellent opportunity to connect with colleagues and members of the pharmaceutical manufacturing community.
The Parenteral Drug Association Midwest Chapter held their 15th Annual Microbial Contamination and Control Conference on May 3-4, 2023, in Chicago, Illinois. Presentations covered topics such as disinfectant efficacy testing, EU GMP Annex 1 changes and impacts, contamination control strategies, bio-fluorescent particle counters, environmental microbiological contamination, and cleanroom studies.
MicronView presented on bio-fluorescent particle counting, technology applications, and the support of industry working groups for this technology. The exhibit hall hosted twenty-two companies, including a booth from MicronView, and many lively discussions. This conference offered yet another wonderful opportunity to learn about opportunities and microbial challenges within the pharmaceutical industry and connect with colleagues.
